Picnic Time!

Happy International Picnic Day! Having a picnic is one of my favourite things to do. You can find me in a park as soon as the weather allows it. Luckily, we’re having perfect weather here today, so I’m off to the park as soon as I’ve filled my picnic basket!

Hello June!

2019 Hello June Mangomini

Can you believe it’s June already? A new month means it’s time for a new calendar page. This is the ‘June’ page from my 2019 calendar. I hope this month will be filled with lots of sunny picnic days, just like I drew here 😉

Europe, go vote!

2019 05 euro vote mangomini

To all my European friends and followers: please don’t forget to vote in the next few days! It’s SO important to use the power and the influence that you have. And afterwards, why not treat yourself to something nice, you deserve it! xx ⠀

PS. For the Netherlands, tomorrow (May 23th) is the day to vote.⠀

PPS. Why not give your vote to a woman so we can get more women elected? 💚

Spring Style (I Wish!)

2017 mei update Mangomini

May calender page from 2 years ago, slightly updated, but I still like this look (and still wear/use most of these things).⁣ Unfortunately, the Dutch weather today is not suited for anything on here, except maybe an indoor picnic.

PS. The birthday calendar where this page is from is available in my Etsy Shop.

Happy King’s Day!

Nederland Mangomini low

Happy King’s day! Today we Dutchies celebrate our King’s birthday. That means: celebrating all day, preferably outside, and everything (including ourselves) in orange!
This is my “Nederland” postcard, with typical Dutch things on it. We may be a small country but there’s still a lot to love here and it’s usually very ‘gezellig’, especially on a day like today!

For my non-Dutch followers, some of the typical Dutch foods on here are (from top to bottom): hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles to eat on your bread, usually for breakfast), stroopwafel (waffle filled with caramel syrup), patatje met (French fries with mayonnaise), tompoes (a very sweet pastry) and drop (salty liquorice).

Card available in my Etsy shop, here.
