Eat What You Want Day

If you’re looking for a reason to celebrate today and treat yourself food wise, I’m happy to let you know that today is ‘Eat What You Want Day’! 😃 For me that looks something like this. These are some of my absolute favorite foods and snacks. I could eat (and drink) these every day, and probably would, if it wasn’t so unhealthy to do so. What are your favorite (guilty pleasure) foods?⁣ And do you have any quarantine-cravings? 😋🍫🍕

Eat What You Want Day

Eat what you want day Mangomini

Today is Eat What You Want Day, and for me that looks something like this. These are some of my favorite foods that I could eat every day, and probably would if it wasn’t so unhealthy to do so. But this day was created to, for 1 day, just forget a little bit about being healthy all the time and treat yourself, even if your favorite foods aren’t the healthiest.

Happy King’s Day!

2018 Kings Day Mangomini

Happy King’s day! Today we Dutchies celebrate our King’s birthday. That means: celebrating all day, preferably outside, and everything (including yourself) in orange!

For my non-Dutch followers, some of the typical Dutch foods in here are (from top to bottom):  tompoes (a very sweet pastry, with an orange layer especially for King’s Day), drop (salty liquorice), stroopwafel (waffle filled with caramel syrup) and hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles to eat on your bread, usually for breakfast).
