Hello Winter!

Today is the first official day of winter (on the Northern hemisphere that is). And although this one will be a little (or a lot) different from other years, there’s still so much to enjoy. For starters: the days will start to get longer again, hurray!! And what about candles, cozy knitwear, yummy comfort food and long winter walks followed by hot drinks? (Mulled wine is my favourite!) Winter can also be a time to recharge, find new inspiration and make plans. Are you as excited for the start of winter as I am? I would love to hear it and why.

I could eat (and drink) these every day, and probably would, if it wasn’t so unhealthy to do so. Hello Winter!

Today is the first day of winter (if you’re in the Northern hemisphere like me). Soon the days will start to get longer again, but until then I love candles and the pretty Christmas lights everywhere. I also love game nights with mulled wine, staying in and keeping warm with a hot water bottle, drinking tea and reading a book or having a Netflix night. I will try to go outside a lot to go ice skating for example, or have a nice winter walk, preferably in a snow covered landscape (followed byΒ  more mulled wine of course πŸ˜‰ )

But this day was created to, for 1 day, just forget a little bit about being healthy all the time and treat yourself, even if your favorite foods aren’t the healthiest.
