Illustrated recap of my February so far. As you can see, I have spring, and spring fashion & colors on my mind, but in reality I’m mostly sticking to my trusty work uniform of blue jeans and black sweaters. I’m also becoming more and more of a plant lady and am currently trying to make sooooo many plant babies. (Let’s hope some of them survive!) In between illustration jobs I’m working on several home improvement projects. Stripping off old wallpaper and painting walls, to name a few.

Bonjour! I hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday. This is another one in my never-ending French style inspired series. This time with a cozy winter look, very much inspired by Jeanne Damas and her Rouje brand.
Also, a quick reminder that I still have 20% off on EVERYTHING in my ETSY shop until February 4th.

I hope you’re having an awesome January so far. I’m recovering from the flu and using the time to think about my plans and goals for 2020. A new year is perfect for a fresh start. That’s why I’m having a BIG WINTER SALE on ETSY, with 20% discount on almost all items.
This illustration is from my 2020 wall calendar. I still have some available on Etsy, now also with 20% discount!

This will probably be my last what I wore illustration of 2019. I haven’t made that many of these this year, because I just haven’t been buying a lot of clothes. One of my goals at the start of the year was “Less stuff, more adventures” and I really have gotten rid of so much stuff already ánd bought very little new stuff. All the items in this drawing were bought before 2019, except for the skirt (and the food of course!) As for the “more adventure”part: I did travel quite a bit this year and tried some new things. I will continue to keep this goal going into 2020, with even less (unnecessary) stuff and even more adventures!
The end of December is a great time to look back at the past year. These are some of the things that I enjoyed most in 2019. I hope you enjoy taking a look at them too! 😉
PS. The bag is from Booming Bags. It’s handmade, Fair Trade and made from leftover materials.
Bye bye November 2019! I will not miss you (although you had your moments). I’m happy and excited to start a new month in my new and improved workspace.
PS. I also still have my big SALE on Etsy until December 3th.
Just a reminder that my 2020 wall calendar is now available on Etsy. Stock is limited so don’t wait too long if you want to get your hands on a copy 😉
I ship worldwide from the Netherlands. If you’re thinking of buying this as a Christmas present, please make sure you order on time because international shipping to countries outside of Europe can take 3-5 weeks during the holiday season. I have lots of other cute giftable items in my shop!
