Happy homemade soup day! With the cold winter weather and so many people down with a cold or flu, it’s a perfect day for some healthy and tasty homemade soup. I made these “Get well soup” cards especially for The Broth Bar in Maastricht. They serve delicious, organic, healthy, home made broth and soup (also to-go) for when you don’t have time to make it yourself. Lots of gluten free and vegan options too!
Illustrated recap of my recent trip to Gran Canaria. I enjoyed the nature, the food and the weather, had some great “accidental” adventures, met a lot of lovely people, slept on a beach under the stars, started a mini book club and drank quite a bit of Sangria. For now it’s back to work, but I can’t wait to go back to the beautiful Canary Islands!
Ps. The mini book club had 2 members who were both reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman at the same time; A perfect holiday read, I enjoyed it very much!
November is almost over, so time for an illustrated recap of what I wore most a.k.a. my November favourites. The last part of this month has been cold, so I’ve been keeping warm in some new (coat) but mostly old favourites.
I’m proud and happy to have a selection of customized cards and posters at The Broth Bar. If you love organic, healthy and home made food or are looking for local or zero waste products, be sure to visit this beautiful place if you’re ever in Maastricht. Lots of gluten free and vegan options too! Owner Charlotte even persuaded me to have my picture taken. Not an easy task!
Thanks to everyone who follows me here! I noticed quite a lot of new follower as well, thank you so much for that! Here is a little bit about me, in a drawing of course. An updated version of an earlier #meetthemaker illustration that I did. Hope you like it!
PS. I still have 20% discount on everything in my Etsy shop. Sale ends tomorrow.
PS2. The book you see is The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho, one of my all time favourites.
I was asked to come up with my own personal favourite fashion look (more on this later!) and it came out something like this. Including some old favourites from my own closet and, of course, a glass of rosé.
This is my version of “Meet the Artist”. I don’t share a lot of personal stuff on social media, but this is a way to get to know a little bit more about me. As you can see I love tea (drink it all day, everyday), books, plants, thrift store shopping, making lists and plans, using my favourite art supplies, patchouli perfume and I drink rosé wine even in winter. I don’t like phone calls (I never answer because I panic!) and I hate it when I accidentally mistake my paint-water for my tea…..yuck!
Book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
