What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now. Part 2.

I thought it would be fun to take and older What I Wore drawing, and update it to how I wear it now. Because, believe it or not, I still own many of the pieces I drew years ago. (They were favorites then for a reason.)

So above is the updated version of the illustration for the May page on my birthday calendar. I replaced the white embroidered top with a black embroidered blouse. I mostly wear black tops now, because I think it looks better with my chestnut hair (almost ginger really). The sunglasses broke, so I replaces them. Everything else I still use and wear, including one of my favorite vintage straw bags that I love for picnics. The clogs I actually never owned but still love and would like to wear.😉⁠

What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now.

So above is the updated version of the illustration for the April page on my birthday calendar. I replaced the stripes with an all black top (I’m over my stripey faze) and switched to a more practical backpack. I own many nice bags, but I almost never use them anymore because my backpack is just so much more comfortable and practical. I still love the denim skirt and my Converse All Stars.

Some of my sunny fall faves. Outside it feels like spring here, but with autumn colours, not bad at all.😉

So what have I been up to this fall, so far? Enjoying long hikes and autumn picnics of course. I’ve also started baking more and taken up knitting (so far it’s going well) and finally went to my first post lockdown concert, yay! Hope you are enjoying fall as well. Bonjour! I hope you had a good week. Here it became autumn from one day to the next. It’s just raining all day, perfect for working from home on my illustrations.
