Parisian Girl Fall Fashion Style, Illustrated.

Bonjour! I hope you had a good week. Here it became autumn from one day to the next. It’s just raining all day, perfect for working from home on my illustrations. I designed this autumn/winter version of my French style inspired ‘Bonjour’ card. It’s off to the printers now and will be available on Etsy next week. After a very rainy May, we’re having a super sunny June so far, and I’m loving it! When I’m not working I’m spending all my time outside, near, on, or in the water or hiking and picnicking. I hope you’re enjoying June as well so far!

2021 Spring Summer Pantone Trend Colors

Every new season I like to take a look at the new color trend predictions and buy a few new paints or pencils in shades that I particularly like and want to use in my work. It will save me mixing time, and I love going to the art supply store.

I made this drawing while I was looking up the spring summer 2021 color palettes. I especially like the pinks and neutrals at the moment. What do you think about these “new trend colors”?

Enjoy Spring 2021!

Happy first day of spring! (On the Northern Hemisphere that is.) This illustration is a collection of fashion, food and plant items to celebrate the start of spring and to hopefully give you some sunny spring vibes! It really sums up my personal spring mood, style and plans.

I did not expect we’d be going into our second lockdown spring. But, I’m hopeful that the end of the pandemic is near and life will start to get back to normal soon, and plan to enjoy spring as much as I can.

2020, The Year We All Stayed Home.

BYE BYE 2020! This Friends TV Show inspired drawing, was my third most liked post of 2020 and I thought it was a fitting one to end the year with. ⁠

I think I made this one in March. Oh how little we knew then about how the rest of the year would be!

Today is World Mental Health Day, always super important, but even more so in this crazy year. This illustration shows you some of the things that are part of my mental health/self care routine. It’s something that I, like so many others, always have to be aware of, especially during the autumn months. Know that there is help available and ask for it, if you need it. Take Care.⁠💚💚
