Want to buy less fast fashion, but still love to shop? Buy vintage! I love going to second hand shops because you never know what treasures you might find. It’s also good for the environment ánd for your wallet, so what’s not to love?
(Almost) all items on here were thrifted by me, except for the lipstick of course 😉
PS. I still have 20% off on EVERYTHING in my ETSY shop until February 4th.

Exactly three years ago I made an illustrated how-to for Hello Giggles on how to dress like Alexa Chung. When Alexa herself reposted it on her Instagram things went a little bit crazy in my inbox for a while, in a good way! (thank you Alexa!) It’s still one of my most popular illustrations online. So now I thought it was time for an updated version just in time for Alexa’s birthday on November 5th.(Happy Birthday!)
The original Alexa Chung style illustration is still available as a signed print in my Etsy shop, right here.
I just returned from a short but lovely camping trip to the beautiful Dutch island Schiermonnikoog. Since we had to carry our own luggage the whole journey it was definitely more of a camping than glamping experience, and this is basically what I wore the whole trip.
Wearing: fanny pack, The Sting – mixed bracelets, Ala and Anna+Nina – sunglasses, Sacha – bikinitop, H&M – flip flops, bought on holiday in Greece – shorts, vintage Levi’s – bikini bottom, Newyorker – Make up bag, Kruidvat – sleeping bag, Hema – top, Mango.
Another project for Sparknotes. I was asked to draw a series of summer essentials. These are 2 of the 8 illustrations I drew. To see the complete slide show click here. Enjoy your summer!
PS. Pizza is my boyfriend tank, similar here. Pineapple earbuds, similar here.
Here’s my wish-list for Santa. To make it easier: the Yerse hat can be found at De Verassing and the bag at By-Bar Amsterdam. Happy Christmas everyone!
