Here is another friend “portrait”. This time it’s my good friend Nadine, who is a real “more is more’ type of girl: very colorful, with big hair, a big heart and big personality! So of course, I had to draw her style.🌼
I finally had a bit of free time to enjoy the sunny spring weather this week, with long hikes, picnics in the park and a lot of white wine 😉 I hope you are also having a good week!
Exactly three years ago I made an illustrated how-to for Hello Giggles on how to dress like Alexa Chung. When Alexa herself reposted it on her Instagram things went a little bit crazy in my inbox for a while, in a good way! (thank you Alexa!) It’s still one of my most popular illustrations online. So now I thought it was time for an updated version just in time for Alexa’s birthday on November 5th.(Happy Birthday!)
The original Alexa Chung style illustration is still available as a signed print in my Etsy shop, right here.
I’ve been enjoying the April sun: hiking, picnics, reading outside and live music (and a little bit of work as well!)
Wearing: cropped top and underwear, H&M – mixed bracelets, Festen – jeans, ZARA – wedge sandals and sunglasses, Sacha – scarf, vintage – bag, from Mister and Mississippi concert
Reading: The making of Fantastic Mr. Fox
So far, this November, I’ve been taking it a little bit slow. Because of some ongoing health issues I’ve not been out partying as much as usual. Instead, I’m doing a lot of reading, tea drinking and chocolate eating (yummy!)
Wearing: Polka dot blouse, Zara – boots, Steve Madden – ear studs, TessaRandi (Etsy) denim cut offs, vintage Levi’s – leather bag, vintage – bracelets, from Festen – elephant purse, ZestyNotion (Etsy)
I’m embracing autumn and autumn dressing with some old favorites (jacket, scarf and skirt) and my new favorite cropped top, with little polka dots (of course!)
