Freezing January

2017-freezing-january-cindy-mangomini

These last weeks have been so cold that I was slowly turning into a sheep! My vintage shearling jacket, boots and mittens were the only clothes warm enough to keep me from freezing. Not a lot of room for fashion when temperatures drop below zero (at least not for me). Luckily I was so busy with illustration jobs that I could spend a lot of time inside with my thermos filled with tea right beside me.

Wearing: shearling jacket, wool cardigan and mittens, Vintage – jeans and tights, H&M – hat, Newyorker – boots, so old I don’t remember – thermos, Mizu.

Reading: The signature of All Things – Elizabeth Gilbert

Let’s do this!

2017, let’s do this! A fresh (and very cold) start.

Scandinavian Style

Scandinavian style - Cindy Mangomini

I made this illustration for the launch of Oh! You Pretty Things Magazine. I was asked by the magazine’s editor in chief  (and über-stylish fashion photographer) Youna Baupoux to illustrate my idea of typical Scandinavian style. Just click here to read the oh-so pretty magazine!

May, so far.

2016 Mei - Cindy Mangomini

Finally a few sunny days and even the first pick nicks of 2016! Also very happy with my new Marc Johns book.

Wearing: t-shirt, Alternative Apparel – bracelet, A la – small purse, Solmode – cap & jeans, H&M – sandals, Birkenstock – straw bag, vintage.

Book: The Daily Artist by Marc Johns.

Preparing for Valentine’s Day

2016 Valentines Day prep - Cindy Mangomini

This is my plan for Valentine’s Day 2016. Not much change from last year 😉 Anyway, happy Valentine’s day everyone!

Back to Winter.

2016 back to winter - Cindy Mangomini

After a sunny holiday, a week of FREEZING cold, now it’s finally a reasonable temperature again. This means I can wear normal winter clothes again instead of millions of layers! It’s also perfect weather to hide under a blanket with a good book. I’m reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert at the moment, very inspiring!

Wearing: “lucky” bracelet, Anna+Nina – jacket, Mango – cap and mittens, H&M – jeans, Zara – Gel eyeliner, Bobbi Brown – top, vintage

Late summer favorites ♥

Late summer chill - Cindy MangominiI’m trying to enjoy the last sunny days as much as possible. These are some of my late summer favorites that I intend to wear into early fall, because I love them so much!

Wearing: fox print top, H&M – hat, Accessorize – red lipstick, HEMA – Jeans and bra, H&M – bag, vintage – sandals, Femme Plus – underwear, Hunkemoller

Consuming: Cosmopolitan & Heartbreakers, yummy!!
