Things To Do On A Rainy Day

Rainy days are not so bad! They are a perfect excuse for taking some time to care for your introvert self. This illustration gives you a few ideas on how to make the most of rainy days.

We’ve been having a lot of rain. I like use the extra time spend inside to give my houseplants extra attention. I also take more time to read, stream a show or movie while giving myself an at home pedicure. Rainy days are also perfect for creative projects, home baking or trying out new recipes. You can also use them to write postcards to your friends (my Etsy shop happens to be filled with cute hand drawn greeting cards!), discover new music or finally do some of the tasks on your to-do list (selling old clothes online is on my list).

Plant days are happy days and plant people are the best people! In my home every day is plant day and my collection is growing bigger every week. I love taking care of them and looking at them. They just make me very happy! This drawing gives you some ideas on how to celebrate your (love of) plants. 😉🌱

I miss being able to go to summer festivals so much! Hopefully very soon again!🤞 I’ve been drawing my summer festival fashion style every year at the start of the festival season, for the last six years now. And even though I might not actually be able to go this year, I still enjoyed thinking about what I would wear and found that I had trouble deciding, even in drawings.😉 Which one do you like better?

Today, May 11th, is Eat What You Want Day, and for me that looks something like this. These are some of my favorite foods that I could eat every day, and probably would if it wasn’t so unhealthy to do so. As you can see a lot of cheese and chocolate plus of course French Fries with mayonnaise, I am Dutch and that’s the way we do it!
