Things To Do On A Rainy Day

Rainy days are not so bad! They are a perfect excuse for taking some time to care for your introvert self. This illustration gives you a few ideas on how to make the most of rainy days.

We’ve been having a lot of rain. I like use the extra time spend inside to give my houseplants extra attention. I also take more time to read, stream a show or movie while giving myself an at home pedicure. Rainy days are also perfect for creative projects, home baking or trying out new recipes. You can also use them to write postcards to your friends (my Etsy shop happens to be filled with cute hand drawn greeting cards!), discover new music or finally do some of the tasks on your to-do list (selling old clothes online is on my list).

National Cuddle Up Day, In Drawings

It’s National Cuddle Up Day today and I’ve updated one of my Best Nine illustrations of 2020 with this day in mind.
The Dutch weather is perfect for cuddling up under a blanket at the moment, it’s so cold! So, put on something warm & comfy (2020 has been the year I embraced sweatpants!) and cuddle up. If you don’t have anyone to cuddle with, remember that plant love is also real love. I REALLY love my plants, so who’s to say that my plants don’t also really love me?? I choose to believe they do, haha. Oh, and also: real cuddles will be making a comeback soon!⁠ Have a nice day!⁠

Netflix and… Quarantine!

Another weekend stuck at home. I updated this one again with only things that are actually my quarantine favorites. Like playing online Scrabble, eating home made brownies for breakfast (sometimes!), too much pizza, plant babies everywhere and, of course, rosé wine.
