National Cuddle Up Day, In Drawings

It’s National Cuddle Up Day today and I’ve updated one of my Best Nine illustrations of 2020 with this day in mind.
The Dutch weather is perfect for cuddling up under a blanket at the moment, it’s so cold! So, put on something warm & comfy (2020 has been the year I embraced sweatpants!) and cuddle up. If you don’t have anyone to cuddle with, remember that plant love is also real love. I REALLY love my plants, so who’s to say that my plants don’t also really love me?? I choose to believe they do, haha. Oh, and also: real cuddles will be making a comeback soon!⁠ Have a nice day!⁠

Hello New Year, Hello New Goals!

My Plans For A Happy New Year.

Happy New Year! Wishing everyone an amazing 2021. Let’s do everything we couldn’t do last year and appreciate it even more.⁠ I love January so much more than I love December (I don’t love December at all actually) The days are getting longer again, our lockdown is (hopefully) almost over, and it feels like a fresh start. ⁠This is my “plan” for 2021. What do you think?⁠

Another weekend stuck at home. I updated this one again with only things that are actually my quarantine favorites. Like playing online Scrabble, eating home made brownies for breakfast (sometimes!), too much pizza, plant babies everywhere and, of course, rosé wine. This is the spring I wish we were having. All this being stuck at home, mostly in sweatpants, is making me want to draw pretty clothes. I saw this skirt on Riviera Retro‘s Instagram Page and it just made me happy! Maybe I should treat myself? Hmmm🤔 Anyway, I hope this drawing of it brings you a little bit of happiness as well.
