Happy National Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day!

Today, April 16th, is National Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day, which this year is a “normal” day for many. As an illustrator I’m used to working from home, so I can easily wear pajames to work most days. But after more than a year of lockdown life I’m so sick of wearing pyjamas & sweatpants every day that I find myself wanting to dress up for work more and more. How about you? Do you feel the same?

This drawing shows you some of the things that can usually be found in my work space plus my pajama-outfit of course.😉

While working I like to listen to music (Ben Howard mostly) or podcasts. Podcasts I’m enjoying at the moment include: Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, Don’t ask Tig and SmartLess. Podcast recommendations are always welcome!💚

Every season I like to look at Pantone’s new color trend predictions and search Pinterest for spring outfit inspiration. When it comes to fashion, I’m not a trend follower any more. I mostly stick to my basics, like jeans, polka dots, comfy sneakers and bohemian style accessories. But I also like to add a few fresh elements and colors. Second Lockdown Spring

This time last year, I did not expect to be going into our second lockdown spring. I really hope by the time summer starts, we’ll all be able to enjoy it together again. For now, I will just enjoy it as much as possible, close to home, and in small company.

Another weekend stuck at home. I updated this one again with only things that are actually my quarantine favorites.
