After a very rainy May, we’re having a super sunny June so far, and I’m loving it! When I’m not working I’m spending all my time outside, near, on, or in the water or hiking and picnicking. I hope you’re enjoying June as well so far!

Hey June! Hello New Month!

My Sunny Plans For June, In Drawings.

It’s June, and a new month, as always, means a new calendar page. I filled the June page illustration with sunny, spring-in-the-city vibes. A cool but comfy outfit to stroll around the city, have a drink outside or a picnic in the park. The last few days the rain has finally stopped here in the Netherlands, so I can actually act out my illustration in real life😎

2021 04 April favorite things Mangomini

Things I Enjoyed Most In April, In Drawings.

Since it’s already the last day of April, it’s a good time for a look at some of my favorite things this month, in illustrated form of course. I did a lot of hiking & picnicking, had a sunny kayak adventure and added lots of new little plants to my growing collection. This whole outfit is from Monki. The pants took such a long time to draw, but I do love them so it had to be done 😉 I also love that the t-shirt and tote bag are made from organic cotton and the packaging was completely plastic-free.

Other things that I still loved this month, but already included in my March favorites, are Ben Howard’s new album and live stream concert and cold water swimming.

I love midi skirts because they are so easy to wear: from work to picnic to party! This illustration is of my floral one, that I found in my favorite Vintage shop, is my absolute favorite at the moment.

Indoor Picnic!

Take A Break From Winter With An Indoor Picnic!

This weekend I took a break from the winter weather, without travelling, by having an indoor picnic. For one day I turned up my heating, put on a summery playlist, wore a summer dress, put all furniture against the walls to create space for pillows and blankets. Lastly, but most importantly, lots of lovely friends came over, bringing food, drinks and happiness ♥

Wearing: bikini top, ASOS – hat and hairflower, H&M – dress, vintage – flip flops, Ipanema.
