Bye Bye 2020!!

2020, The Year We All Stayed Home.

BYE BYE 2020! This Friends TV Show inspired drawing, was my third most liked post of 2020 and I thought it was a fitting one to end the year with.

I think I made this one in March. Oh how little we knew then about how the rest of the year would be!
If you’re reading this it means you survived 2020, congrats! I want to thank everyone who follows my work. THANK YOU for your support, comments, likes, kind messages and orders, I REALLY appreciate it so much!! Have a good last day of this terrible year and see you in 2021. Take care! 🥂

December Sadness

When your self care routine is not enough and you just feel sad.

Self Care Sunday, In Drawings.

Sunday is for Self Care!

Sundays are for self care!💚 This quick little drawing gives you some self care ideas for your Sundays. I do all of these things myself, and not only on Sunday.

I try to start my day with a little at home yoga session. I love Yoga with Adriene on YouTube, and also try to meditate or do breathing exercises every day. While I work I listen to music of podcasts and drink lots of tea. I go hiking almost every week and always make sure that I have some evenings to myself, to enjoy my favourite Netflix show or read a book. This illustration sums it all up. I hope you find it useful!

More Illustrated Positive Inspiration

If you like this one you will probably also like this other self care drawing and my illustrated mental health plan. You can also follow me on Instagram and Pinterest for regular updates or shop my illustrated papergoods on Etsy.

Bye Bye 2019!!

Thank you so much for all your support in 2019!! The year flew by and I look forward to a fresh start in 2020. My head is full of ideas and plans.
Enjoy the last day of 2019 and wishing you all the best for 2020. See you next year! xx

Tool Time

I started making this illustration of my favourite art supplies about two years ago and then, halfway through, completely forgot about it. Today I found it again and finally finished it! I initially started making this because I got a lot of questions about what products I use to make my illustrations. Often I get asked what apps I use. No apps, it’s al hand made! I mostly use products from Faber-Castell or Royal Talens.

Happy King’s Day!

Nederland Mangomini low

Happy King’s day! Today we Dutchies celebrate our King’s birthday. That means: celebrating all day, preferably outside, and everything (including ourselves) in orange!
This is my “Nederland” postcard, with typical Dutch things on it. We may be a small country but there’s still a lot to love here and it’s usually very ‘gezellig’, especially on a day like today!

For my non-Dutch followers, some of the typical Dutch foods on here are (from top to bottom): hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles to eat on your bread, usually for breakfast), stroopwafel (waffle filled with caramel syrup), patatje met (French fries with mayonnaise), tompoes (a very sweet pastry) and drop (salty liquorice).

Card available in my Etsy shop, here.
