Want to buy less fast fashion, but still love to shop? Buy vintage! I love going to second hand shops because you never know what treasures you might find. It’s also good for the environment ánd for your wallet, so what’s not to love?
(Almost) all items on this illustration were thrifted by me, except for the lipstick of course😉 I´m always looking for vintage Levi´s jeans, use my vintage Dr.Martens boots for hiking and the extra large bag is perfect for French picnic vibes, oui oui!
PS. I still have 20% off on EVERYTHING in my ETSY shop until February 4th.

I hope you’re having an awesome January so far. I’m recovering from the flu and using the time to think about my plans and goals for 2020. A new year is perfect for a fresh start. That’s why I’m having a BIG WINTER SALE on ETSY, with 20% discount on almost all items.
This illustration is from my 2020 wall calendar. I still have some available on Etsy, now also with 20% discount!

Take Care in the New Year, Illustrated Inspiration.Take good care in 2020, of yourself and of those around you. Wishing everyone all the best for the new year ♥
I have this self care reminder card available on Etsy. It’s not so easy to always get all of the things on there right, I know this very well myself. But hopefully it can inspire you in some way, even if it’s just to do one good thing for yourself today. For me, it’s listening to Ben Howard on “eternal-shuffle-mode” at the moment.
If you find this self care drawing useful, take a look at my mental health plan version. I also have that one available on a postcard on Etsy.

This will probably be my last what I wore illustration of 2019. I haven’t made that many of these this year, because I just haven’t been buying a lot of clothes. One of my goals at the start of the year was “Less stuff, more adventures” and I really have gotten rid of so much stuff already ánd bought very little new stuff. All the items in this drawing were bought before 2019, except for the skirt (and the food of course!) As for the “more adventure”part: I did travel quite a bit this year and tried some new things. I will continue to keep this goal going into 2020, with even less (unnecessary) stuff and even more adventures!
The end of December is a great time to look back at the past year. These are some of the things that I enjoyed most in 2019. I hope you enjoy taking a look at them too! 😉
PS. The bag is from Booming Bags. It’s handmade, Fair Trade and made from leftover materials.
Today is the first day of winter (if you’re in the Northern hemisphere like me). Soon the days will start to get longer again, but until then I love candles and the pretty Christmas lights everywhere. I also love game nights with mulled wine, staying in and keeping warm with a hot water bottle, drinking tea and reading a book or having a Netflix night. I will try to go outside a lot to go ice skating for example, or have a nice winter walk, preferably in a snow covered landscape (followed by more mulled wine of course 😉 )
I hope this drawing gets you in a happy winter mood! What are some of the things that you love about winter?
