Meet The Maker: A Little Bit About Me.
Today is World Hello Day and I though this would be a good day for me to say hello, and tell you a little bit about myself for those of you who are new here. In the form of an illustration, of course 😉 The book you see is The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho, one of my all time favourites.
If you like this you can follow me on Instagram and Pinterest for regular updates or shop my illustrated postcards and other papergoods on Etsy.

Happy Quatorze Julliet to my French friends and followers! x
This is the July page from my 2019 calender. The year is flying by so fast and it’s almost time to start working on next years’ calendar. But first, a little summer break. I’m already looking forward to a few trips, including to Switzerland for the first time ever! What are your summer holiday plans?
Hello July and happy “Half New Year”! 😉
Half of the year is over and for me that’s a perfect time to stop and think about how my year has been so far; Am I on track with the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the year? (Work and personal) What do I want to do with the second half this year? What do I need to pay more attention too? I just love the feeling of a fresh start half way through the year! I also checked how far I am with my #19for2019 goal list, and I’m doing pretty good except for the trying new recipes. (Just 2 so far!)
What are your plans or goals for the next 6 months?
Happy homemade soup day! With the cold winter weather and so many people down with a cold or flu, it’s a perfect day for some healthy and tasty homemade soup. I made these “Get well soup” cards especially for The Broth Bar in Maastricht. They serve delicious, organic, healthy, home made broth and soup (also to-go) for when you don’t have time to make it yourself. Lots of gluten free and vegan options too!
Happy international tea day! I’m a big, BIG tea lover, so of course I have to celebrate this day. I found out that this is actually a day to bring attention to the often poor working conditions in the tea industry. So: tea is always a good idea, but make sure you buy from tea brands that support fair trade!
Happy Cake Day America! Sometimes you have to celebrate the small things, like cake. I know I will be doing that today 🙂
