What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now. Part 4.

This is the fourth time I’ve taken an older What I Wore drawing, and updated it to how I wear it now. Because, believe it or not, I still own many of the pieces I drew years ago. They were favorites then for a reason!

Above is the updated version of the illustration for the July page on my birthday calendar. Below the original drawing. This is an outfit that I still wear, although the sandals eventually didn’t survive all the long walks I did in them and needed to be replaced, with similar sandals. I also added my current favorite sunglasses. I still have the old ones, but don’t wear them much at the moment.

What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now. Part 3.

This is the third time I’ve taken an older What I Wore drawing, and updated it to how I wear it now. Because, believe it or not, I still own many of the pieces I drew years ago. They were favorites then for a reason!

Above is the updated version of the illustration for the June page on my birthday calendar. Below the original drawing. This outfit is so “me” that I would still wear everything, except maybe the bikini top. I also drew a lipstick on the original one, that I don’t actually wear. In the new version I replaced it with a berry freestyle tint from The Body Shop, and the ring (I never wear any anymore) with earrings and piercings. I also choose my Pizza for President tote bag for this one, another long time favorite.

Hey June! Hello New Month!

Hey June!

Another month has flown by and it´s June already. A new month, as always, means a new calendar page. I filled the June page illustration with sunny, chill vibes. The last few days have finally been sunny so I´m finally able to wear what I drew, because, believe it or not, I own everything on here! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy month!💚😎

What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now. Part 2.

I thought it would be fun to take and older What I Wore drawing, and update it to how I wear it now. Because, believe it or not, I still own many of the pieces I drew years ago. (They were favorites then for a reason.)

So above is the updated version of the illustration for the May page on my birthday calendar. I replaced the white embroidered top with a black embroidered blouse. I mostly wear black tops now, because I think it looks better with my chestnut hair (almost ginger really). The sunglasses broke, so I replaces them. Everything else I still use and wear, including one of my favorite vintage straw bags that I love for picnics. The clogs I actually never owned but still love and would like to wear.😉⁠

So above is the updated version of the illustration for the April page on my birthday calendar. I replaced the stripes with an all black top (I’m over my stripey faze) and switched to a more practical backpack. I own many nice bags, but I almost never use them anymore because my backpack is just so much more comfortable and practical. I still love the denim skirt and my Converse All Stars.

Hello February! (In Drawings)

Cozy Winter Mood At Home, Illustrated.

Hello February! I always love the start of a new month to make plans and think of ways to make the most of that particular month.

For February it’s all about creating coziness at home. When it’s raining and dark outside I love to chill inside with candles, snacks, a glass of wine, a good book or a nice show to watch under a warm blanket. I also give my plants a little extra attention, because some of them are struggling from the lack of light and the cold. What do you like to do in February?

Hello February! I always love the start of a new month to make plans, set goals and think of ways to make the most of that particular month.

For February it’s all about creating coziness inside, while getting as much daylight as possible and enjoying the rare sunny days to the fullest. It’s also a month to give my plants extra attention, because some of them are struggling from the lack of light. What are your plans for this month?
