Hej! Scandinavian Style, Illustrated.

Scandinavian Winter Style, In Drawings.

Scandinavian-winter-style-inspired illustration, because French style is not the only style I’m obsessed with..

I love the simple, practical yet elegant fashion that Scandinavians are known for. They really know how to dress well for the cold. I often think of their famous saying: “There is no bad weather, only bad clothes” when I feel like staying inside because of bad weather. It really motivates me to go outside anyway.

When life gives you lemons, you better find a good way to use those lemons! Like in your illustrations or in a nice cocktail (or both!) These are some of my 2019 favourites, so far.

A Vintage Winter Mood For February, In Drawings Of Course!

Can you believe it’s already February?! Me neither, but it really is, so time to turn my calendar to a new page. This month illustration has a vintage winter fashion vibe. I actually own everything in this outfit, except the glasses. They are all personal vintage fashion finds,(I love to shop vintage) paired with tea and chocolate because, well.. why not?

If you like this drawing I have two very similar cards available on Etsy with the same vintage fashion vibes here and here.

Reasons Why January Is The Best Month!

Happy New Year!! I love January because it marks a fresh start full of new ideas, adventures, plans and goals. In 2019 I want to continue to live a more minimalistic life with less stuff and less waste. I want to stay creative and productive, learn some new skills, travel, read more books and stay healthy.  And I also want to enjoy myself while doing all these things of course! What are your plans/ goals for the new year?

This illustration is filled with happy, healthy and positive new year’s vibes. If you like it you can follow me on Instagram and Pinterest for regular updates or shop my illustrated postcards and other papergoods on Etsy.

November favourites!

2018 november cold Mangomini.jpg

November is almost over, so time for an illustrated recap of what I wore most a.k.a. my November favourites. The last part of this month has been cold, so I’ve been keeping warm in some new (coat) but mostly old favourites.

Scandinavian winter

Scandinavian Winter-Lagom-Mangomini

This week’s illustration for Hello Giggles was inspired by the book Lagom by Linnea Dunne, about the secrets of the Swedish art of balanced living. “Lagom” doesn’t really translate, but means something like “not to0 little, not too much, just right”. I really loved reading this book full of nice tips and recipes, all in Scandinavian style (which I LOVE).
