Spring is coming! After days of non-stop rain we finally had some sunshine this weekend and I’ve started to slowly introduce some spring elements into my wardrobe.

For Hello Giggles I illustrated some ideas for the in-between-weather fashion struggle. You know, when one minute it already feels like spring, but the next it’s back to winter. As you can see, I focussed on timeless pieces, in neutral colours, that you can layer. With these pieces, you will be prepared for whatever the weather will bring you!

For Sparknotes.com I recently illustrated what I imagined seven famous fictional characters might keep in their bags. Can you guess which characters these three bags belong to? (To see all seven, just click here)

These last weeks have been so cold that I was slowly turning into a sheep! My vintage shearling jacket, boots and mittens were the only clothes warm enough to keep me from freezing. Not a lot of room for fashion when temperatures drop below zero (at least not for me). Luckily I was so busy with illustration jobs that I could spend a lot of time inside with my thermos filled with tea right beside me.
Wearing: shearling jacket, wool cardigan and mittens, Vintage – jeans and tights, H&M – hat, Newyorker – boots, so old I don’t remember – thermos, Mizu.
