Hello September! September Mood In Drawings.

A new month means a new calendar page. This is from my 2023 wall calendar. The theme & inspiration for this illustration is an end of summer, back to school, back to work, getting ready for fall vibe.

Our summer and spring have been very rainy here in the Netherlands so I’m hoping for a few more sunny days. At the same time, the rainy days are great for cocooning at home, with some candles, tea or wine and a good book or TV show. Anyway, wishing everyone a sunny and happy September!

Random Things That Caught My Eye.

Little things that I like at the moment, and felt like drawing.

In case you’re wondering: the tea is the Rose Garden tea from Sostrene Grene, my absolute favorite at the moment. My Teva’s need to be replaced and I love the color combo on this pair. There’s also baguette and cheese because they are forever favorites and Picnic Season is here. The strawberry is on it because I love them and I’m growing them myself again this year. The hand painted plate I found on Etsy. Sadly I don’t know where the tote bag is from. I came across it on Pinterest with no info. If you know, please let me know.
