For a while I thought I was going to escape the flu while everyone around me was getting sick. But there really was no way of escaping it and yesterday it finally hit me too. I will spare you a what I wore illustration filled with boyfriend jeans, slouchy sweaters and millions of tissues. Late summer favorites ♥

I’m trying to enjoy the last sunny days as much as possible. These are some of my late summer favorites that I intend to wear into early fall, because I love them so much!

Camping, not Glamping!

I just returned from a short but lovely camping trip to the beautiful Dutch island Schiermonnikoog. Since we had to carry our own luggage the whole journey it was definitely more of a camping than glamping experience, and this is basically what I wore the whole trip.

What I Wore To Stay Cool During The Heatwave, In Drawings.

During the recent heatwave I had only 1 thing on my mind: how to stay (somewhat) cool! The workspace in my apartment got so hot that my bikini became my new work-uniform (one of the advantages of working from home!)

How To Dress Like A French Woman, In Drawings.

This is my second illustration inspired by How To Be Parisian (wherever you are). After finishing the book I felt like drawing another recap. I’ve also been practising my French for about a month now (Oui oui, très bien!) Like everyone else, I secretly want to be Parisian too! Fresh start during a heat wave!

It’s been a while since I had time to work on this blog, but I’m back! We’re in the middle of a Dutch heatwave and I don’t mind spending some hours inside, hiding my pale skin from the sun.
