Happy National Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day!

Today, April 16th, is National Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day, which this year is a “normal” day for many. As an illustrator I’m used to working from home, so wearing pajames to work is never a problem 😉 In this illustration you can see some of the things that can usually be found in my work space. (Tea & chocolate ALWAYS!) While working I like to listen to music or podcasts. Some podcasts that I’ve been enjoying lately are Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, Happy Place and the Goop podcast. Recommendations are always welcome. Stay safe at home, in your pajamas, if you can!⁠💚

Autumn leaves

Are you ready for fall? It’s starting to feel more and more like it and, although I will miss summer, I do love autumn. It’s just the coziest season, don’t you think?⁠

Expectations vs Reality: French Holiday Style.

French Holiday Style And Adventures! In Drawings, Of Course.

Above an illustrated recap of my recent trip to Northern France. Below you can see the (very stylish and sunny) picture I had in my mind before going. Here now, is the more realistic “after” version. The weather was pretty bad (no bikini needed) and the trip certainly had some challenges (including being stranded hours away from our apartment at night, and no taxi willing to pick us up) but the bread, wine and cheeses were so delicious it made up for a lot and almost made us forget about the rain!⁠

Expectations:

Above you can see how I envisioned my French Holiday style. In reality no bikini or aftersun was needed. Raincoat instead.

More Expectations:

We hand planned to be in the water a lot and to try Stand Up Paddling.  In reality: zero time spend in the sea because of the bad weather.

Taking A Break!

Hi everyone! Tomorrow I’m closing my Etsy shop until August 14, because I’m taking a small break. So if you need anything fast, today is your last chance to order until I’m back.

What to pack!?

Less than a week until I’m off to France for a short break. Time to start thinking about what to pack and hoping for nice weather.⁠ (It doesn’t look very good at the moment!🙁)
