So far, I have spend most of this November inside. After a few days in Amsterdam, where I went to see The Lumineers (yay!), the flu got the best of me. Today I’m finally back working at some illustrations. Here are some of my favorite things of the moment, including my new Dali Katch speakers. They sound even better than they look! I take them into my work room when I’m working, into my kitchen when I’m cooking, and yes, into my bedroom when I’m sick in bed with the flu. After all, music heals, hopefully even flu 😉

Wearing: maxi skirt, vintage – sweater, H&M – bag, vintage – mittens , handmade – shoes, Carmens -nail polish, Maybelline Superstay – blush, MAC
Using: Dali Katch speakers – banana tea mug, H&M Home
Listening to: The Lumineers, Kings of Leon, Ben Howard, Donovan Woods and Nathaniel Rateliff

Exactly three years ago I made an illustrated how-to for Hello Giggles on how to dress like Alexa Chung. When Alexa herself reposted it on her Instagram things went a little bit crazy in my inbox for a while, in a good way! (thank you Alexa!) It’s still one of my most popular illustrations online. So now I thought it was time for an updated version just in time for Alexa’s birthday on November 5th.(Happy Birthday!)

So far this October I have been very busy working on a number of projects. But I also made time for some shopping! After all, one of the most fun things about the start of a new season is sorting your wardrobe and adding some new (or rediscovered old) favorites! I love to mix new with vintage and I’m especially happy with my “new” vintage coat, that will keep me warm all winter!
Wearing: coat, vintage – bracelet, alà – off the shoulder top, mittens and underwear, H&M – skirt and leather bag, vintage – lip balm, Maybelline – shoes, Carmens
Drinking: lots of tea with honey
Listening to: The Lumineers and Kings of Leon

This was actually the last print that I finished for my new calender. In it are some of my favorite things for fall: tea, mittens and a warm oversized scarf.
Wearing: jacket, dress and mittens, H&M – scarf and bag, vintage – shoes, Sacha.

Happy Birthday to my Birthday Calendar! It’s finally finished, yay! The calendar consists of 12 pages with full color illustrations on each page. Plus a clip to hang it someplace nice, so you never have to miss an important date again.
I have the calendars available in my Etsy shop as of today. I think they will make lovely Christmas gifts so don’t wait too long if you want to have it in time for the Holidays.
