Low Waste Spring Ideas, In Drawings.

Simple Ways To Reduce Waste And Save Energy This Spring.

Every new season is a chance for a fresh start. In this illustration I’ve summed up some of the things that I will be doing to reduce waste and save energy this spring. Today also happens to be Global Recycling Day, that’s why I thought this would be a good day to share this drawing.

Going completely zero waste can be hard, but by making little changes reducing waste and saving energy is actually quite simple. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference.

Want More Zero- Or Low Waste Swap Inspiration?

I’ve been drastically trying to reduce waste for a while now, especially my plastic waste. I have a whole series of illustrations with zero- and low wast swap ideas and about sustainability in general. Take a look here and here for examples, or follow me on Instagram for more regular updates. I also have a postcard available on Etsy filled with ways to reduce waste.

How To Reduce Waste And Save Energy, In Drawings.

Today is World Environment Day. The perfect day to share part 3 of my personal journey to a “low waste’ life. These are the changes that I have personally made. I completely understand that not every option is available to everyone. But even if you can only make a few of these changes, you can make a difference. And if everyone tries a little bit, together we can accomplish a lot! If you find these drawings useful, I have it available on a postcard on Etsy, to keep as positive inspiration. You can also follow me on Instagram for more regular updates on my low waste journey.

How I Started My Low Waste Journey

In the illustration above I have combined (almost) all of the changes that I have made over the last year(s). Below you see part 1, 2 and 3 of my “journey to zero waste”. Starting with the latest one, Part 3.
