Are you inspired by the minimalism movement, dream of living in a tiny house, travelling more or obsessed with Marie Kondo? I’ve been trying to live a more minimalistic life, reduce my waste and focus more on experiences rather than on things. So less stuff and more adventures. Isn’t buying this card also buying more stuff? Well, in a way yes, but I keep it on my wall to remind myself of this goal and it helps me to stay focussed and motivated, maybe it can do the same for you 😉

Adventure Chicken Holiday Style, Illustrated.
My Solo Hiking Trip To The Canary Islands.
This is the illustrated recap of my recent solo trip to Gran Canaria. I took a small break from winter and visited the beautiful and sunny island of Gran Canaria. As you can tell from this drawing I enjoyed nature, the food and the lovely weather. I was so happy to be back in shorts and sandals. I also had some great “accidental” adventures (hence the #adventurechicken), met a lot of lovely people, slept on a beach under the stars, started a mini book club and drank quite a bit of Sangria. It was quite perfect! For now it’s back to work, but I can’t wait to go back to the beautiful Canary Islands!
Ps. The mini book club had 2 members who were both reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman at the same time; A perfect holiday read, I enjoyed it very much!

2019 Goals
2019 goals! This year I want to continue to try to live a more minimalistic life, reduce my waste and focus more on experiences rather than on things. So less stuff, more adventures! (I do still like to draw ‘things’ and I will keep on doing that.) What are your goals or plans for 2019?
See you later!
I’m going on a small break to get some winter sun, yay! Today is the last day my Etsy shop will be open until I’m back after Christmas. So, last chance if you want something fast! 😉
