Hello April! A new month means a new calendar page as well. This month is going to be a busy one for me, with some very nice work projects to look forward to!

Another happy spring drawing, just to add a sunny feeling to this otherwise grey Dutch day. I wish I was wearing this polka dot dress and sipping some rosé in the sun. Luckily I don’t need sun for getting my home and balcony spring-ready (or to drink rosé wine).

Happy first day of spring! (On the Northern Hemisphere that is.) I love the start of a new season, because I’m someone who loves to make lists and plans and what better time to do that then at the start of a new season?
This is an updated version of a get-ready-for-spring “action plan” that I made a few years ago. What are your plans for spring?

Queer Eye season 3 is released today, can you believe? I’m soooooo excited for this and also curious to see if it’s still as good, now that the Fab5 are so famous. (Update: yes it is!) I made this illustration after watching the first two seasons and becoming a huge fan! I have this illustration available as a print in my Etsy shop here.

This is a custom illustration that I made for my yoga/surf buddy Margot, who has an amazing style that I would describe as “bohemian vintage badass board babe”. She also has a second hand e-shop called Second Wave Shop if you like this style you should definitely check it out.
This is actually the second drawing that I made of Margot’s style. When I first met her on Holiday I was so impressed with her and her friend Youna’s style that I made an illustration of their holiday style. (See below.) Feel free to contact me if you would also like a custom illustration of your personal style.

Happy Plant A Flower Day! The perfect day to plant some flowers as you wait for the start of spring. If you choose a bee-friendly seed mix, you will not only have colourful flowers to enjoy, but you will also help save the bees! I already planted mine.

Happy Sunday! What better way to spend a rainy and stormy day like today?

Together we are stronger, so let’s support each other and not just today ♥

Hello March! A new month means a new calendar page. This month has a bit of a book lovers theme, because well, I love books and reading is a perfect way to spend time while waiting for spring to start. I’m reading a Dutch novel called Nooit meer slapen (Beyond Sleep) at the moment by Willem Frederik Hermans, which takes place in northern Norway. What are you reading at the moment?

I’m not much of a trend follower but I am totally embracing the neutral colour trend at the moment (yes, leopard print is a neutral!) Any trend that makes beige seem fresh and not boring is impressive, if you ask me ;)
I’m also still reading ánd working on my own little Happiness Project and my 19 goals for 2019, yay!
