Sunny Summer Faves!

My Hot Summer Day Favorites, Illustrated, Of Course.

I´m not good with heat but I try to make the most of it. Usually that means finding shade in a forest or going for a refreshing swim in a cold lake or river. These are the things I bring along on such days.

What I Wore, Then & Now, Part 4.

What I Wore (In Drawings) And How I Wear It Now. Part 4.

This is the fourth time I’ve taken an older What I Wore drawing, and updated it to how I wear it now. Because, believe it or not, I still own many of the pieces I drew years ago. They were favorites then for a reason!

Above is the updated version of the illustration for the July page on my birthday calendar. Below the original drawing. This is an outfit that I still wear, although the sandals eventually didn’t survive all the long walks I did in them and needed to be replaced, with similar sandals. I also added my current favorite sunglasses. I still have the old ones, but don’t wear them much at the moment.
